When this add-on is applied, a silicone cupping set is used during a massage session. Cupping Therapy has the same benefits of massage with an application of negative pressure to pull the muscle tissue up and away rather than pressing into the bones and underlying structure of the body.

Cupping is well known for the marks that can be left afterward. These marks do not hurt and go away anywhere from a couple minutes to weeks after the session. The marking up from cups is said to be "toxins" in the body that may become "stagnant" or stuck. Bringing the stagnation up to the surface allows it to be recirculated and "cleansed" through the blood.

We use cupping with the intention of releasing muscular tension, however these other purported benefits may be noted. In our experience, people who get regular cupping treatments may mark up at first but mark less and less to zero markings with continued treatments.
